Unable to read mapped drives

Php seems unable to read files in a mapped networked drive

I tried boths ways:

$filePath = "j:\FileCabinet\$orderCode.htm";
$filePath = "\\keldia2\data\FileCabinet\$orderCode.htm";

and I always get de same error

Warning: file(\keldia2\data\FileCabinet\3642242.htm): failed to open stream: Invalid argument in...

WHY , WHY , WHY???
