[Resolved] Safari users: need second set of eyes for site

I have developed a web site here, and just now noticed that the bottom half doesn't show up in Safari. Could someone take a look at the code and point out where my error lies, so that the footer never shows on any other page except the front page?

I don't use Safari, but if you want anyone to look at your code, you're going to have to provide the code. Perhaps you could save the page as a .phps file, and provide a link.

Ok, I used iCapture (very useful site by the way) to have a look, and this is the resultant image. Now, wheres the problem? Cos when I checked in FF, it looked exactly the same as it does in safari. 😕

Anyway, I see what you are on about now... the links at the bottom of the page, right?

The problem is that you are using image maps and I don't reckon safari likes them. I suggest that you turn the bottom bar (the black one) into a table and have text links instead.[/edit]

BuzzLY - this code is probably what you are looking for. It holds all the display info. I was looking to see if I could pull anything about of just the source code via the browser. At any rate, this will view as a complete image in any editor, but note the structural changes for the front page and secondary pages.

piersk - the only imagemap I'm using is at the top of the header, ie. WOW Corporation logo. The footer itself is straight linked images.

However... I'm wondering if the problem lies further up the page, ie. a weird pixel placement or some such. Here's why. Notice on the front page there is a black border on the right hand column (far side)... but on subsequent pages, the black line disappears, and then things start disappearing. I find that odd since it's essentially the same code used to make up the first page.

Got it! The problem was a completely stupid one. My database connection wasn't including in the file, and so everything after that failure wasn't showing up. Hence...the GUI was broken.
