[Resolved] Storing (TM) and (R) marks with a name

I need to be able to store brand names with (TM) or sometimes (R) marks with them like

Somebrand®

How would I do that?

If you can't just store them as is, you may want to convert them to ascii ([man]ord[/man] and [man]chr[/man]) to store them.

Can you not store the HTML character (© and ® and whatever the tm one is)? I don't see why there would be problems with storing them

It depends on what he's storing it on? mysql...txt files what? i really don't see why he couldn't. If it doesnt work just get the ascii code for it &.....;

In an agreement with the others, I see no possible explanation that you couldn't store a standard ASCII character. The character "©" is no different from the character "a". Both have ASCII values under 255, so it's not even extended.
If you need to type them, press:
Alt+0174 = ®
Alt+0153 = ™
Alt+0169 = ©

Make sure the numbers are typed on the number pad. If you want to use these without typing the ASCII character in HTML, try: &#174;, &#153;, and &#169;.
