Printing in php

Hi all

can some please shed some light !!

I am reading some registeration information from MYSQL and it in a table form in PHP

What I would like to do is have a print icon so that the user can print those details

I am not sure where to even start, I see some tutorial on the web give a print icon so that users can print the tutorial minus any advertisments

I know the users can use the browsers print function but that would mean getting the banners etc.

Can some put me the right direction or have u written some code which i could use

Using a seperate style sheet with media="print" can control that. Here's a small snippet:

 In your head section:
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" href="styles/style.css" /> 
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="print" href="styles/print.css" />

In style.css:
img {
   border-width: 0;
   border-style: none;
}

a:link, a:visited {
   border-bottom: 1px dotted #69f;
   color: #36c;
   text-decoration: none;
}

a:active {
   border-bottom-color: #969;
   color: #939;
}

a:hover {
   border-bottom: 1px solid #f00;
   color: #f00;
}


In print.css:
a {
   text-decoration: none;
   color: #000;
   font-size: 85%;
}

img {
   display: none;
}

So when it's on the screen, it will show the image with no border, when it prints, the image is hidden. If you need help with css, check http://www.w3schools.com
