I used this code and structure 2 1/2 years ago to drop some data from a form straight into a simple txt file. Everything worked great. In fact, it still works. But I'm trying to make it portable, and this same exact code does not work in a different folder (all the links have been changed).
The message returned in the new directory is this ...
Warning: fopen("/home/jgiambalvo/a/t2/b/b.txt", "a,b") - Permission denied in /home/jgiambalvo/a/t2/action.php on line 14
of course then fputs and fclose doesn't work either.
why do I have permission with in th eold folder, and not have permission in the new folder?
This server has been through some changes over the past 2 years. Would a change in my account permssions do somethign like that? IF not, what else?
