PHP Scripting for Cellular?

I have a Nokia 3595 Cell phone and I was wondering if I can run PHP scripts on it. Because it has the option of selecting a webserver where you phone can fetch JavaScript scripts. So, would I be able to fetch PHP scripts?

since php is a server-side language, it executes on the web server itself.

your phone is not a web server. javascript is client side, so whatever javascript you download i am guessing can be run on your phone if it has a javascript supported browser client.

even in a normal browser, you can not fetch php scripts since php is processed on the server, and by the time you fetch it, you are only fetching what the script has outputed.

I haven't tried it myself (wireless scripting), but to answer your question, yes, it can be done and with PHP in combination with another scripting language. Sorry, I don't have more of an answer for you, but at least you know that if you research it, you won't be wasting your time. Look at WAP and WML as well.

now that i read it again, then rachel is right.

for some reason i was thinking you wanted to execute php code on your phone, .. but you can program php to output text that is compatible with your phone browser.
