Hello,
I have a script which currently uploads an mp3 file to the server and retrieves the ID3 tag information, which is then stored in the database.
I also need to be able to take the first 30 seconds of the mp3 and save that as an additional file for a sample of the original file.
The idea of the above being that anyone can upload an mp3 to the site without having to first download software to cut the first 30 seconds. This would all be done automatically.
Does anyone have any idea how this may be done? Any help appriciated as it's doing me nut in!
