Hi,

I have just turned my magic quotes to "On" and I thought that this would solve all my " ' problems but I am still stuck on something.

It works fine when I insert everything into my database if someone puts "100 CD's in "perfect" condition" for example but if you want to update your entry I have another form which pulls all these out of the database so that you can update your entry without typing all the info again.

Unfortunatley all that appears on my form is " 100 CD " ie just up to the first ' - how do I get round this?

run your data through htmlspecialchars before echoing it out to the browser
