Hello every one! I need help with scrolling. I'm developing a chatting software. I'm using frames one for input the other one for output. when I keep on typing it works fine till scroll bar starts then when I type again after refesh scrollbar jumps back to the top.
Please help me out.
This really isn't a PHP issue per se. You may be better served by finding an HTML forum to ask this question in... You may have to use Javascript or something to ensure the focus is always at the botom of the box in question... (Something you may want to try is to append your data in reverse chronological order (newest on top) so that you don't have to worry about it...

just use an anchor at the bottom of the frame with the chattext
Then call it like this http://index.php#bottom
LOL. I am a dope. I was thinking the chat was in a TEXTAREA rather than in a window frame. LOL. Sorry about the confusion.
