Query from a range of dates

Hey could someone please help?

I have a mySQL/php Query returning results of, a search of Titles and listing them in DESC order by date.

I would like to have it display the Titles (mySQL entries) from a date range (like 06/01/2004 - 06/15/2004)

Hear is my code now:

$query = "SELECT
Date,
Title
FROM
news"

select * from table where datefield between date1 and date2

Thank you but could you tell me a little more. I don't know much about this coding. What would the actuall code be? (use the code posted above)

$query = "SELECT
Date,
Title
FROM
news where Date between '2004/06/01' and '200/406/15'";

Bad practice to have a field called 'date'...usually a reserved word and can have unintended consequences...better to call it news_date

then query becomes
$query = "SELECT
news_date,
Title
FROM
news where news_date between '2004/06/01' and '200/406/15'";

and if you want users to be allowed to look through certain range dates just add some variables and use $GET or $POST to grab those requests...
