web site spider

Hi
I want to build a spider for my site in order to allow people to search my site.
All of the site's content is stored in mysql, in many tables.

What i would like to know is how to follow the links from each page. How do you read the link just like the browser interprets it.
I have a lot of links like
show.php?sid=1&prd=8
How can php read the content, like the view source of the browser produces it?

Erm ... are you asking how to pass variables? If so, search for <pass variables>. If not, then you need to clarify what you want to do.

Well, I figured it out
I would just use file("http://mysite.com/script.php?sid=1")
So simple.
I must be very tired
