Internal Server Error with PHP....

Hi --

I created a PHP script about a year ago that I've successfully installed on a number of different servers without any problems. Now, however, on a different server I am receiving a 'This Page cannot be displayed' 500 Internal Server Error with the same files and installation process.

I'm not sure if there are many possible reasons for this, but I was hoping someone could offer an explanation as to why this would happen. Thanks in advance.....

Is it just this PHP script, or all PHP scripts?

Just this script in particular, although as I mentioned I can't even begin to suggest what the problem might be. I'm assuming it's something to do with the server or with the compatibility of the server and the script because the script has always worked fine in the past.......

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

silly, but necessary questions:

Is the HTML server running?
PHP installed?

can you display anything at all? html/php/etc

is there any chmod'ing required to get the script to run or is the directory chmod 777 or anything? does the script use any .htaccess php_flags or have any directives in it to alter php.ini settings?

maybe you should post the code so we can see what the problem might be.
