Trying to find script to add text to remote webpage

Hi,
I am looking for a script that will add data or text to a page by typing in just a line of script.

I used this on the reciever end at a site that maintained a link page for you. I added a line of scriupt and when I came back to the page it was full of links and data....In other words was a webpage.
ANy idea what this script would be called?

You could call that kind of a script many many things, but I think the easiest way for you to do it would be to incorporate databases (say...MySQL) into the receiving page so that all you need to really do with the PHP on the "administrative" page is update that database with the new/editted information. Make sure you give your "administrative" hostname access to the MySQL server on the receiving end.

If you're doing it with text...that's a bit more complicated and will involve a longer explanation. I'd be glad to give it to you, but, bit rushed for time, so let me know if this solution isn't what you need.

I might not have mentioned..I am quite dumb!

Well In this subject of scripts I am!

Also I have a problem in MySqL at my server. I am at the ....well past the limit of MySQL databases and only have PHPSQL databases left and no program I try to use will allow me to use the PHPSQL bases. I have 3 of them availiable but sadly cant acess or utilize them.

I want to add mgno search to a website I have and it doesnt allow me to because of the programs choice of using mysql . My server said I could consolidate 2 of my mysql bases into one but be careful so it just wont happen...LOL

I would never be able to create a script, rather I need a program.........and one that almost does it all.........tho I have almost mastered installing cgi scripts..
