login authuentication help

i've found this free/GPL script 'vAuthuenticate' which i've really like to love about the simplicity and usability.

Its got the usual php login n logoff with admin only panel to add/delete users off a mysql db.

But now i need to this :

1) after login by username, the script automatically redirects to the user's specific user page eg. user001 gets redirected to user001-2.html after login success

How is this possible in vAuthuentic script? like in adding in function n url field in the db?

Then why not using header or javascript to redirect people after a successful authentication? (I have never used vauthenticate ).
All you have to do is to get the member user name, which should be stored as a session variable and concat "-1.htm" or whatever your url has to be completed with...

I don't have in mind the header syntax, something like
header("Location:".$username."-1.htm")

This would be correct I think:

header("Location:$username-1.htm");

just keep in mind that the header function has to be used BEFORE outputting anything (i.e. headers, text). I spent a lot of time before I figured that out....
