Calling url from text box

Hi,

I need advice on this problem I'm having.

I'm trying to figure out how to create a simple script where a text box when been input with number or word will divert the visitor to a url with that number or word at the back of the url I defined. Below is a example:

                                                          _____

[url]http://www.my_domain.com/[/url] |____| <==This is the text box.

When visitor type in webken in the text box, it will divert to

[url]http://my_domian.com/[/url]webken

So far, I though of using below method:

<form action="<?php print $_SERVER[PHP_SELF] ?>" method="POST">

Please advice anyone.

Can you elaborateon this a bit please? What about it isn't working? Are you getting an error? Is is it redirecting to the wrong page? How exactly is it not working?

In the first case (test.html and valid.php):

After I type in the text in the text box and click the submit button, it divert to http://www.mydomain.com/vaild.php with below:

The page cannot be found
The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

HTTP 404 - File not found

------In the second case(test.html with all the codes in it):

After I type in the text in the text box and click the submit button, it divert to:

http://www.ezysuccess.com/<?php%20print%20$_SERVER[PHP_SELF]%20?>

With below:
The page cannot be found
The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

HTTP 404 - File not found

Please advice.

Does your server parse PHP code in a page with an "html" extension? It doesn't look like it ...

Also, it looks like "magic quotes GPC" is on, so you'll need to either use [man]striptags/man or [man]urldecode[/man] to get the gibberish out of your file/folder name before you call [/man]header/man ...
