passing variables across scripts

Whats the best way of passing a variable from say script1.php through script2.php and then finally onto script3.php to process the variables. I am building an order Form and I need extra information after they choose the products, so I do not kno how to get the info they enter on the first page to the 3rd. I thought about using Sessions, but I do not know if that is nesscery or what. Thanks

Save the passed variables as hidden inputs
<form ....

<input type=hidden name=variableToPass value='somevalue'>
<input type=hidden name=anotherVariableToPass value='some other value'>

....
</form>
