Hyperlink form buttons

I have some administration pages which have links for add edit and delete. Only my delete button needs to be a form button as it posts data to be deleted from a database.

Is there a way to have this form button as just a hyperlink and still have it post the form data?

Ok I will try that. Is any of that code specific to one form or can I throw that into any form and it will submit the data??

well it's java script and technically does not belong here but anyway the only part you have to be warry of is the forms[0]. In javascript the forms on a page are an array of objects. The first form is forms[0] then second is forms[1] and so on.

So if I have three forms on a page how do I know which order they are in an array?
By the way the forms are read in the html page?

starting from the top of the html code the first form you see is forms[0], the second is forms[1] and so on.
