Extensions and paths

In my php.ini file that is in my windows folder i set:
extension_dir = C:\PHP\extensions
And i put the extension in it, but php keeps saying:
PHP Warning: Unknown(): Unable to load dynamic library 'C:\PHP\extensions\php_xslt.dll' - The specified module could not be found.

Why????

Hi MrCool (great name🙂 ),

Maybe this dll needs something else to be installed! This of course is a guess.

I have used in the past a cool program that opens a dll and checks to make sure all of its dependencies are found on your machine.

Give it a try, as maybe it will help. If not it is always a good tool to have at hand.

thx, cool tool, but it won't inspect my php.ini file, so not really useful, but what i would like to know is if some1 can post what path they put in their php.ini file for extensions, so I can have a model, because i'm not really sure what i have to write in mine...

I think you might have got me wrong.

The error message that you are getting could be because a) it can't find the module e.g. incorrect path or b) that the module can't be loaded due to a missing dependency.

If you start dependencywalker and the open your dll it will check if everything is ok with the php_xslt dll, as from memory + google the xslt dll realise on 2 other dlls.
