For MyISAM type, concerned about doing concurrent insert/update/select statements. I've reveiwed http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/LOCK_TABLES.html
There are two tables to lock prior to manual edit, and for administrator update interface. These are 'Contacts' and 'Posts'.
For a READ lock on these, is mysql query simply:
Lock Tables Contacts, Posts, READ
Then to unlock;
Unlock Tables Contacts, Posts, READ
After locking -- can phpmyadmin console still be used for insert row or must manual query statements be used?
