I'm working on a site, and I need all of you to help me. That includes you lurkers -- it's time to make your presense felt. It will be a very cool site, and will make me lots of money.
I need one person with awesome graphical skills. I'd prefer it if it were someone who's worked with LucasArts or ILM.
I also need someone to build, from scratch, a bulletin board system to completely replace PHP Builder, and steal all of their users.
If anyone out there knows flash, I need an application for my front page. Make sure it has loud obnoxious music, and no way to skip the 5 minute long intro.
Let's see... oh, yes, I will need someone to host this site on a high-end box, preferably with no other sites on it, and develop a backend database system that will blow all other DB's away. Does anyone have a good server they can donate?
I'm also going to need about $500,000 in advertising capital. I'll set up a paypal account, and if each of you donates just a few bucks, I'm sure we'll reach our goal soon enough.
I can't pay anyone anything, but since I'm heading to Vegas right away while you work on this stuff, I'll put 5 bucks down on any roulette number you want.
I need this done by next Tuesday. Please let me know how and when you're going to help, so I can assign you your tasks.
