I have a document named
song.php in a mp3 hostin librarian
looking originally like this (around row 359)
jmSelect($language['song'][15],'song_genre',genreArray(),$data['song_genre']);
By adding the following code right below
jmSelect($language['song'][15],'song_subgenre',genreArray(),$data['song_subgenre']);
voila:
jmSelect($language['song'][15],'song_genre',genreArray(),$data['song_genre']);
jmSelect($language['song'][15],'song_subgenre',genreArray(),$data['song_subgenre']);
I get the following looking song add/modify window:
http://files.mikseri.net/pics/view.php?id=37341
My database is set up with two tables
song_genre and song_subgenre.
What puzzles me is: This application doesn´t create an error but
nicely shows the data from song_genre in both boxes.
Even if I´m referring to different tables...
What am I missing here?
The only thing I want to reach here is to be able
to get the listing from the song_subgenre to show in the
drop down box below. No combined scripting etc such complex things... Just the user having an ability to point out a
sub genre.
If there is any compact solution I´d be very glad to learn about it!
Tnx for any and all feedback!
