i have a mail engine like this:

They can be contacted back on $email.

include 'Contactform.php';

for some reason its mailing the mail to the right place yet the Vars are blank.
Could i have some help plz...?

You may also want to make sure registered_globals is on and that your form information is in sync with the mailer form.

Wouldn't need to worry about Register Globals with the code, since the variables are being defined at the beginning...

$category = $POST['category'];

$email = $POST['email'];

$message1 = $POST['message'];

$name = $_POST['name'];

Turning on the Register Globals may not be available to Richardtagger, and besides, it compromises security...

No one should ever do this.. they should check whether it's on and then turn it off if it is.

My assumption is that,
in
include ('Contactform.php');

Contactform.php must be your original HTML FORM.. so if there is no condition to check... if the variables are set or not.. like if(isset(variablename)) then it automatically executes mail() function with empty variables.. I guess thats wats happenening
