I dont see how you get off claiming Drawmack has an attitude... I was raised to respect my elders, but damn, there does come a point when respect earned is respect given. As for age, I am 23, and like drawmack, I have done the professional IT work, communications, and even some metalworking -- however now I am in the Air Force maintaining a Satellite ground station. Why do I bring up all of this... well because throughout my life (albeit short when compared to most) I have come to see that age != maturity, it never has, and in all likeliness never will. Take a deep breath, calm down, and come back with a cool head and quieted temper.
This site has always been about helping those who help themselves, we like to see initiative into the process, be it pseudo code because you arent adept in coding and need the insight as to what functions would help accomplish that code, or a quick attempt at a program that doesn't quite work right yet. Occassionally, yes, people will offer up freebie code to help out people who are totally lost... but they do understand that its not something to expect every time they come across a problem... and through trial and error, start to learn for themselves.
As drawmack pointed out, most of this community are professional programmers or IT developers. They get paid to write code, and they volunteer to help teach new programmers here on their free time, no compensation offered, expected, or received. The PHP community owes a pretty big thanks to the group of people that reside here, and they deserve quite a bit more respect than what you showed in your previous posts. I truly hope you give the place a bit more thought and another try before you give up on the place. Not everyone gets off on the right foot, and we do enjoy to see people who may have got a rough start turn out to be productive and help contributors to the community here.
Buzzly posted a link to a page the quite obviously used the functions that you claim to be non functional code. I'm sure if you were polite about it, Buzzly would even offer to show you the color processed source...
