that allows you to create and download a backup of the forum postings/settings (backup SQL file)? I know a few places, but they don't allow this feature. I want to test the waters with this forum. If it becomes popular, I'd like to move it to a different server, but would like to take the postings + settings with me.

    any host that has cPanel.

    cPanel has a feature that allows you to download a backup of your SQL database...sure PHPmyadmin allows you to do this aswell.

      The place in my sig does, you just have to tell them why you want their webspace and if they like you - voila.
