revealing escape char in strings.

Hi,

Is there a way to revealing what escape char are inside a strings.

eg

from

"These text contains some escape char
";

to this

" These text contains some escape char CR or 0x0D (13) in ASCII) or linefeed (LF or 0x0A (10) in ASCII)"

[man]addslashes/man may give the desired effect. You could then [man]str_replace/man those to make them in your format.
