10x a million guyz. It's very hard to find someone whom can realli understand n reply the answer i am looking for here in malaysia. I understand parallel port has been classifed as 'realatively easy' to be programmed using such appz as suggested by u guys. But i can c the challenge n the future here. I m pretty sure that u guys are familiar with php,asp all the web based programming stuff that handle this and that around the web server corner. What u guys mentioned are absoltely correct, but the point is u still need to instal the program at the client side to control some particular device connected to the parallel port. My idea is, we have a server that actually control some devices, while the user sits at the otherside;connect to the dedicated server and execute the command lines from his/her web browser VIA apache. I know there is something called iomojo for php that works very similiar to this context. But rather then controlling I/O for parallel port, it control a camera. In short,some sort of camera server that sits side by side with the webserver.
This is y i thnk ths idea should work,eventough i know its hard. As a php programmer i always wanted to bring php one step higher. If we realli succeed, then php is no more only a conventional programming for web, but also a great script for robotic project.
Anyway i realli appreciate both u guy (err sorry i dunno ur exact gender). I always believe 2 is better then 1,4 is better then 2 etc... I will try to dig out somemore info n ll inform u guys if there is any breakthrough.

i hope u dun mind to help me out on this.errr.....i m very keen to learn and i learn fast.the most important thing is i share all my knowledge to anyone who is willing to take.I need hints on how to start doing QB as i dun hav any knowledge on it.
