Win2k - nonAdmin install

I am in a non-web development position at work but have been asked to some some webdevelopment with php5 and apache and mysql, which I am familiar with. I do not have access to administrator mode on the win2k computer I must use. Is there any easy way to set up the system for only this computer user, and that only accepts connections from localhost. Admins here are reluctant to allow a webserver installed on a computer.

I don't think you'll be very lucky. I'm pretty sure that you need admin rights on 2k to get a webserver working (tho I could be wrong). Is there not a central web server that you can use?

there is no server for development. I can always ssh into my home linux box and do things there. but i was hoping there would be a simple way to get things up and running without admin access... ah well.. if anyone else has any ideas please reply..
