I need some help PLEASE,
I have variable ($str) that contains special characters. I need to remove the special characters, as the string is going to be a filename. These characters: * ? | > < / . Must be removed from the string. Whether it's in php or html, does anyone know how I can either stop users from inputting special characters, or simply delete them from the string?
