have some question how can we pull the string with a HTML tags
eg.
<FONT color=#0066ff>Keep Checking back for More Artists</FONT>";

and the display should be :
Keep Checking back for More Artists

Yes, strip_tags is the quick and dirty way of removing any tags. If you want to be able to use or change the tags, then I recommend using [man]preg_replace/man.

Incidentally, kudose, your link doesn't work. When you enclose a function in [man] and [/man] tags, you must leave off the (). The php manual does not (yet) compensate for that.
