coding problem

I fetch an email address from a database and want to add "mailto:" in front of it, but it doesn't work. how can I make it work?

err... take a good look at your mailto href.....

print '<a href="mailto:"' . $row["email"] . '"">';

then take a look at this one....

print '<a href="mailto:' . $row["email"] . '">';
