COUNT problem

Hello:

Can someone please tell me why this query would return the same results for YesVotes and NoVotes? The should result in 3 YesVotes and 1 NoVotes. Any help would be great!

SELECT COUNT(Vote='Yes') AS YesVotes, COUNT(Vote='No') AS NoVotes,

result = 3 YesVotes | 1 NoVotes

ok that kinda works but how do i assign the names YesVotes and NoVotes to the results?

Simple ..
just add the field..

SELECT Vote, count( * )
FROM Votes WHERE Vote
IN ('Yes', 'No') GROUP BY Vote

Sorry but I need to get $YesVotes and $NoVotes, how would I go about that?
