For the record, I wasn't trying to imply that your answer was incorrect. I did find it confusing, and as it's worded, I'm not sure how it would work. You seem to be saying that she should load the "wait" page, then somehow (your word, not mine) launch some sort of system call that communicates in some way with the wait page.
I'm not sure that's possible with PHP. It's a server side scripting language. It serves up a page when the client requests one -- in that way, there really isn't any way (I think) to perform parallel tasks. So, she loads the wait page. The wait page then launches a request to the server to do the work she requires, which, when done, will send a new page to the client. As Drakla said, that is similar to what happens when you post a message here at phpbuilder.
If the above is what you meant, cool. I simply didn't understand that. If not, then clarify what you were talking about. Your response to my initial post sounded like you were complaining that I was somehow stepping on your toes.
