Uncompress a zip file with php

Hi,
I would like to uncompress a zip file with php.

I have tester many scripts to generate an uncompressed file but it always ended with error messages or corrupted files.
I work with the Zlib library

Does anyone know a script that make this task?

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Have you ever visited the manual? If you type in "zip" in the search box you get this page.

I was guilty of almost exactly the same crime (posting without searching) so it would be wrong of me to chastise you for it .... lucky bastard!! 😉

that is not really the answer I expected...

I searched a little more on the web and there is no solution to my problem indeed

The Zlib library only allows to open gzip files and not zip files.

I hope this will helps guys who will encounter the same problem

Note that ZZIPlib only provides a subset of functions provided in a full implementation of the ZIP compression algorithm and can only read ZIP file archives. A normal ZIP utility is needed to create the ZIP file archives read by this library.

The link I provided above has nothing to do with gzip and it's not Zlib. I think you should take the time to actually read links before you place judgement on them :mad:
