None of my databases are working at the moment and my hosts have just admitted that there is a problem.
Just out of interest have my hosts been attacked, is it possible for someone to write code to keep sending requests to mysql stopping it half way until mysql finally errors.
This is the error I am getting when I log in to php myadmin
Host 'xxxxxxxx' is blocked because of many connection errors. Unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts'

Some servers are having problems handling large numbers of SQL connections from an as yet unknown source. Our staff are working to minimise the disruption and track down the cause. Host Europe apologises for any inconvenience.
