[Resolved] change thousands

Is there an easy way to change 2000 to 2,000.

It seems to work but when I look in the database to see if it was update, it is not. I printed the query out and it was right. got any ideas.

What format is your column in? If it's INT, that won't work to stor the number with the commas in it, you'd need to change the column type to VARCHAR.

Remember that "2,000" is only displayed that way to make it easier for us to read. If you have to do any calculations with it, you would have to convert it to 2000. I recommend keeping it stored in your database as "2000," and only adding the comma when you need to display it on the screen for readability.

That is what I did, I am just displaying it, like this 2,000 and storing it as 2000. Thanks for the help
