falls over Ok... I tried explaining this to a friend who is a super good coder... but she was no help >< So maybe I can find some help here ^ ^

Ok... Im trying to find some code that will allow me to fill in data(( like numbers(or gaia gold in this case) )) and it will log them and show them on a image. but each time I reenter the data (( like when I get more gold )) another little bar image on the background image moves up to the appropriate place... Thats the best I can think to explain it... ^ ^; um... Help? ^ ^;;;;

You know...I -still- don't know what the whole "^{_^;"} thing is...at least, not the ";" part.

Anyway, this is somewhat of a complicated thing, and I can't think of any scripts that do that off of the top of my head. Do you know any programming, and do you have a server to do this on?

you wrote "background image". Do you mean something like the background image if a table cell ? There might be two possible solutions.

You could create several images, each with a different number of bars and matching the dimensions of that cell. You can then use the image matching the value entered for the background of that cell
You could use the image functions of PHP to create such an image on the fly with a php script. I think, it shouldn't be too hard to create a simple bar image script. This solution is more powerful yet a little bit more complicated.

If you just want to display a bar graph and if it is not a background where you can't control how often an image is displayed you could create a little image containing just one bar and load it n times depending on the value entered.

Start at http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.image.php or google around a bit to see if anyone already did something like that.

I've seen it done before... But the person who did it, his site decided to eat his account and he had to close his little shop he had(( On a place called Gaia.. you can open a shop and selling people things like graphics, coded works )) and Yes, I think I do have a server to to this on...

The background image, I think, was just a single lone image.... Just a background image that was worked ontop of... like the wallpaper of a computer moniter,
