Grab / Convert HTML into PHP

I would like to import a current HTML site and convert this in a php enabled site. Is there a kind of script that can download the site, and create the items for me?

I think your misunderstanding what PHP does. If you need some way of adding PHP functionality simply then Dreamweaver MX is probably the tool for you. I'm not 100% on that as i've never used it myself.

sorry if I wasn't that clear. I have a xoops interface, which is php driven, so I would like to grab the content of a website, and have my sql commands in a rather fast way. there are about 4000 pages to convert, so I think that a kind of software must be able to read the content of the html page, and interpret it as a field. I hope I was clear enough now 🙂

Oooh...so you want something to be able to hold onto the pages that you have, and put them into a database? o_O Is -that- what you mean?
