Writing to exel?

Does anyone know how i could wright the output of a form to exel? Without using CSV

I dont want to use CSV as i want to be able to format the cells.

Are you talking about formatting the cells via Excel or automatically? The reason I ask, is because you can always output to the CSV, and then open it later in Excel and apply all othe formatting you want... Then just save it off as an Excel Spreadsheet...
