[Resolved] Pull content stip and display

My apology if there are thread in reguard to this. I don't know exactly what to search for and basic searches pull up way too much info.

What I basically want to do is pull the content from an extrernal site, strip the conent I dont want, and dsiplay what I do.

In this instance the conent is coming from eBay®. I basically want to take what items are currently for sale by said user and display them in a table with a link.

It is not in violation of thier terms due to many shopping cart mods having it. I know it may seem like I answered my own question in the statement above.

But I have looked into those scripts and they seem to be more complx than what I am looking to do. Most of them display everything. I just want the title, price, when it ends, and how much it is currently going for. Maybe even the image to be displayed.

Not looking to have someone make this for me, just for someone to shoot me in the right direction.

look into using soap to access the ebay api. that is not illegal but I think what you want to do is.

Thanks, but I am pretty sure that displaying eBay items on an outside source when the only links point to internal eBay sites isn't illegal. But I will check into it further.

Figured it out.

Didnt even use soap. Good old fashion fopen and str_replace 🙂
