Why do you need to know such a thing? It sounds a little suspicious to me. You're not planning on being naughty are you? You know what happens when you're naughty :evilgrin:
I think you've got me wrongly. I have written a script which repairs the table.My real intention is to learn how to hassle and deal with this kind of situation which I may face one day.

Which dbms and os?
Assuming mysql, you can corrupt it by yanking the cord during a table write.
if it's mysql try deleting a FRPM, MYI or MYD file... 🙂
