Tutorial of PHP Needed

Hi..
Every One..

I am New to PHP and Till date I have just use the hello world programme of its....

I need so good tutorial of it I have the Manual of its from www.php.net but that is bit tougher for me to understand I need a little eay tutorial specially if it help in coding on windows system.

One more question i have is that I have php installe don my system on windows Os that i am familiar with it. But I have a free site from www.5gigs.com which has Linux based os.. For Me linux is a bright Sun that i cann't touch.. Now It has lot of Folder shown in it Some of them are www, Public_http, public_ftp.. out of these folder on which folder do i need to add my file to make it my site working...Hope u understand what i want to know.. Simply Where to upload my php and Html file to make my site working...

well my experience with PHP manuals says that any where on the net u search for one...u get the same file...probably displayed differently. PHP Builder also has the manual under 'Docs '.
Moreover i think the manual is not so difficult to follow... be thankful its not PERL u want to learn! the PERL manual is really difficult to follow.
As for ur Linux related prob... i cant help u much there as i myself use windows based PHP...but i think php.net has quite a few FAQs and downloads which shud help u out.

the differences between Windows PHP and Linux PHP are very small, so small that nearly any PHP script that runs on Windows will most likely run on Linux.

As for tutorials, you can find hundreds of tutorials here: http://www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Tips_and_Tutorials/index.html

as for where to upload your files, its usually "Public_html" or "www" folder.

yo man im in a similar state like u im new as well but about a month down from u just upload all ur files to the www folder it should allwork fine. when u access ur website. ok and if u have not got access or are still cluless about php admin try and signup to a hosting servicewhich gives u a control panel using php admine is easy just play around with it for a while and before any time u should get the hang of it. Its good to know access and D base basics though, ok take care

Let's go back to the php site for a moment and see if there's anything we can find. In the main navigation bar (top right), you'll see a link there called "links", click on it, scroll down untill you come to a section entitled "PHP Tutorials", the first one is described as "Introductory tutorial". VOILA!!
