Im setting up a system where users can make posts to my website. i have all the php/mysql working, but i was wondering how to get it so when they are typing in the form text box instead of having to put "<br>" to stop and go to the next line, if i could set it up so the form knows to do that when they press the "enter" key.
and if you didnt understand that then here.
i have a text box set up like the one you type in just a simple
<textarea name="textarea"></textarea>
and if someone types say:
"Lets all go out to eat
and then lets go dancing"
it shows on the page that displaysthe information as:
" Lets all go out to eat and then lets go dancing "
to get it to look like the first one, i would have to type this in the text box.
"Lets all go out to eat<br>
and then lets go dancing"
but i want it so that they dont have to type "<br>" they can just press the "enter" key and theform would know to count those spaces...
