Just want to start out by saying hi and thank you for your help so far, I have been reading for about 2 weeks.
Small background so you know how much I know. CS minor in college, html/javascript programming for the last 6 years for fun not job. Started php/mySQL 2 weeks ago. I already can add/edit/delete/search my database. I now need to worry about security/password protection.
Where should I start reading about security and how to verify it is secure. My worry is someone will strip the stored emails in my database and add them to spamming lists.
Second question
Is it possible to call a function when a button in a form is pressed? I have not been able to find any examples of this, everyone seems to use post or get.
