PHP and search engines

Hi all,

Just a question relating to PHP and search engines.

Useing the same META TAGS as I would in plain HTML in a PHP script, how well or not do the search engines deal with the information in the META TAGS.

I know that not all search engines use the META TAG information and rely on the content. But I thought ( would ask the question.

it shouldn't matter if it's a php or html file since they both look the same after parsing.

About the only thing I would say is that you need to be careful because some search engine indexers don't like to play when you have variables in the URL...

http://www.domain.com/index.php?variable=1&variable=2

(Some, but not all indexers will skip this file when indexing the site)
