Newsletter with PHP

I have a question. I have few adress in a file and I would like to send a newsletter to each adress. What is the best way to do it? For the moment I think I will do a loop and send 1 by 1 but is there a better way?

Assuming that everyone on that list actually WANTS to receive an email from you...

BCC the email to 100 recipients at a time. If you have 1000 email addresses, it will only send 10 emails (well, not really, but your script won't have to do as much work).

For the moment I have 3 persons on my list but maybe someday I'll have more so I ask :p I will take a look with BCC

Or look into getting a script / class that will talk SMTP with the mailserver directly, and delegate the mass-mailing part of the job to the mail server. (Searching Google for "PHP SMTP class" nets this as the first hit, but there are plenty of others to choose from; half a dozen on the first page alone).
