Here's the scenario...

I'm an affiliate for a site. A web host. I refer a sale. That referred sale comes to my site and fills out a form giving me their name, email address and the domain they signed up with under me.

The script then logs into the stats section of the affiliate site and checks for that domain. If it's found, an autoresponse is sent out.

If not found, the person is told so.

The problem...

I can't get the script to work right. I'm pretty new to PHP so I don't see why this doesn't work. It doesn't find the information on the affiliate site even when it's there.

There is a form that I use to pass the domain or $domain to the script so that I can use if (eregi("$domain", to see if it's there.

Having no luck.

Any visual clues as to why this isn't working?

Hi,

does the PHP installation support curl ? If so, it might be easier to get the contents by using curl.

How does the stats data look like ?
