After searching the net and using some programs and then searching the forums I have not come to a solution. How to make the bitmap fonts. I found the function imageloadfont and there is very litle documentation and I found this website with some fonts http://www.widgnet.com/gdf_fonts/ . But not how to create them. I just wanted arial italic and my host doesn't support TrueType =(. Does anyone know how to create bitmap fonts for GD?
The only way I can think of is to get a font creator. Then what you can do is open the font you want and export it as a different type of font.
Trying to do that, I have Fontographer and i believe it might have to be BDF format, so I going to try that and differen't formats.
