Code for "Delayed Display" function

This is a pretty specific need, but hopefully someone here has had a similar need, or simply knows how to do this. Let me do my best to describe the need below:

A "Bulletin" document (pdf) is created every Tuesday evening by a non-programming/non-web savvy person. This document is "published" every Sunday on the web, currently by me.

What I would like to do is write a script which would allow the person writing the document on Tuesdays to simply upload the document via an FTP server (using MS Internet FTP Explorer or some other user-friendly FTP client), but the webpage itself will not serve up that particular document until the following Sunday.

I'm guessing this can be done, and fairly easily, using PHP, but I'm not sure where to begin. Any help would be greatly appreciated, not by me, but by the entire church community that this service will serve.

i would may be use http file upload here is a link to php file upload handling

the user could then submit the date to be displayed the pdf file

and submit the form you could then store the file location and date in a flat file or a database

to display the file on the correct date you would write another script to selec the file name and location relavant to the date and make the link to the relavent pdf file

ps/ dont forget to put the upload script in a htaccess restricted directory or add some form of passwod protection
