Hi, was asked to code a program similar to a card game tournament manager. That exports results to a web page.

I love PHP and i would love to do it on PHP. But one requirement is that the software needs to be installed easilly on a Windows Machine, by a non IT user for running turnaments on offline tournaments.

Can i do this ?
I have never coded on PHPGTK, is this an option ?
Does the SQLLite now included in PHP5, give me an advantage on this ?
Should i go for another programming language (i hope not)?

Personally I would use VB or VC++ for a windows gui, I'm sure you could do it with gtk but then your install will have to install php-gtk interpreter, configure the system so that they can click an icon on the desk top and run a gtk app. All in all it would probably be easier just to do it in a language designed for running guis on windows.
