Hi,

I am new to PHP & SQL and I need some advice. I have set up a table and I want to extrct the data into a HTML document. I want to know if it is posible to create a HTML page with a search facility to vook through the databse and extract the data dependant ont he search critreia. I would then need it to display the data in HTML.

I know this soulds alot for a beginner but hay... we all start somewhere....

You will need to create an HTML form for the user to enter data to search for. The form will send the data to a script that queries the database for terms matching the input. You can then run through the result set and display the results in an HTML table.

That sounds complicated. Is there anywhere I can get this kind of stuff for free?... I think that may be out of my league at the minute. But I need to learn, If I can find some pre-writen script I can learn from that??
